These children filled the streets during April. By the end of May, our narrative shifted a bit with the other pandemic we were all facing.

First and foremost, these lives matter. Black lives matter. The pandemic hit us all hard but what our country is going through at this time is something these kids will face for the rest of their lives because of the color of their skin. We hope and pray they stay safe during this pandemic but also as they grow older in an unjust society.
